1. How does B3TR distribution work in BYB?
Each week, the VeBetterDAO platform allocates a fixed amount of B3TR tokens to the BYB app (e.g., 100,000 B3TR). These tokens are used to reward users for completing exercise challenges.
B3TR rewards grow every second for each exercise. The first user to complete an exercise wins the accumulated prize, resetting the reward to zero before it starts growing again at a set rate (B3TR per second).
For example:
- If the Squats prize is 3.5 B3TR and increases by 0.1 B3TR per second, after one second, it will be 3.6 B3TR, then 3.7 B3TR, and so on.
- When a user completes the Squats challenge, the reward resets to 0 B3TR, while other exercises continue accumulating.
Fair Distribution System:
To ensure fair token distribution, the B3TR per second rate is calculated using:
B3TR per second = Total weekly allocation / Seconds in a week
For example:
- 100,000 B3TR / 604,800 seconds ≈ 0.16 B3TR per second
- If there are 4 exercises, each will increase by 0.04 B3TR per second
Harder exercises take longer to complete, meaning their prizes accumulate more, making them more valuable!
2. Do I always earn the full B3TR amount shown when I open the app?
Not always! Prize Penalties adjust the B3TR you receive based on different factors:
- Challenge Frequency Penalty:
- If a user completes multiple challenges within 24 hours, their prize decreases exponentially
- Formula: Reduced Prize = Current Prize / (2^n), where n is the number of completed challenges in 24 hours.
- Example: If the prize is 10 B3TR and you’ve completed 2 challengesin 24 hours:
- 10 / (2²) = 2.5 B3TR
- Device Usage Penalty:
- If you use a tracking device: You get the full reward
- If you don’t use a tracking device: You only receive 1% of the prize
- Challenge Level Penalty:
- Beginner: 1/3 of the prize
- Intermediate: 2/3 of the prize
- Advanced: Full prize
3. What are XP points, and how does the XP system work?
XP points track your progress and unlock new challenge levels. Unlike B3TR, XP is not affected by how many challenges you complete in a day.
XP Rewards Per Challenge:
Level | With Device | Without Device |
Beginner | 100 XP | 1 XP |
Intermediate | 200 XP | 2 XP |
Advanced | 300 XP | 3 XP |
The more you exercise, the faster you level up!
4. How does the challenge level system work?
Each challenge has its own level, meaning you progress separately for each exercise.
- All users start at the Beginner level for every challenge.
- You level up based on how much XP you’ve earned in that challenge over the last 30 days:
- Intermediate Level: 3,000+ XP in the last month
- Advanced Level: 10,000+ XP in the last month
Keep earning XP to unlock higher difficulty levels and bigger rewards!
